Mackayla grew up right outside the city of Chicago and graduated from the University of Dayton in 2021. Mackayla received her degree in criminal justice and modeled on the side throughout college with new view models in talent located in Cincinnati. Although mackayla has not held any pageant titles she was recruited to participate in miss Illinois, Which at the time she didn't realize how closely connected modeling goes with pageants.
