As Miss Summerlin Teen USA Sofia will go on to compete for Miss Nevada Teen USA this summer. She earned 1st runner up and best in active wear at Miss Nevada Teen USA. In addition to pageantry Sofia is a dedicated competition dancer and ballerina. She performs in a variety of styles including Latin ballroom. This spring will be her 10th year competing and she plans to further her dance training in college where she will major in marine biology and minor in dance. Sofia loves to travel and has even been as far as Bora Bora to model for Relais & Chateaux, a prominent international hotel group. Her modeling career has also brought her all over the US and she will soon model in Peru and Brazil.
